About Employee Relations

Employee Relations is responsible for assisting the University of Miami in maintaining a work/learning environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

The University's Title IX Office works to prevent, stop, and address sexual misconduct across all university campuses and for all university community members.

Services Offered

File a Complaint
This form is for reporting an act of prohibited discrimination and/or harassment. Completng this form is not required to formally initiate a complaint, however completing the form will assist in the review and investigation process.

Employee Appeal Form
This form is for employees who have been terminated for misconduct or rendered ineligible for future employment and are appealing.

Accommodation Request Form
This form is for employees seeking a workplace accommodation.

Nursing Mothers Accommodation Request
This form is for nursing mothers requesting the use of an on campus Nursing Mothers' Room.

Training and Education

Employee Relations conducts live and online, web-based training programs designed to inform, educate and guide members of the University community on specific issues that affect equal opportunity, affirmative action, sexual harassment, Americans with Disabilities Act, Civil Rights, and Age Discrimination.
